All About Her
Written by: Warda Kainat
International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8 every year. It’s a global celebration of the economic, political and social achievements of women. But we’re paying tribute to every woman out there, whether she is excelling in corporate sector or struggling with household chores. SHE is strong and every action of HER is loud and should be praised. This year the theme of this day challenges everyone to confront bias.
What does a world free of bias look like?
This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “breaking the bias” and it’s about working towards a world free of stereotypes and discrimination that is diverse, equitable and inclusive. It’s a world where difference is valued and celebrated.
On the broader question of how to challenge biases, charity organisations working to alleviate poverty and humanitarian crises find that it’s important to show the agency of those people working hard to lift themselves out of poverty. This is driven by a desire to avoid perpetuating notions of white saviours swooping in to save the day in campaigns highlighting poverty and humanitarian crises.
What do Women Want:
Women’s day is just around the corner, and we all are getting ready for it. Despite celebration and recognition, this day is a day of revising our resolutions and getting our facts straight that what we want from the world.
- Celebrate Women’s Achievements
We’ve come a long way from non-voters, quiet, submissive wives to powerful, self-sufficient women who make changes in the world so other women can enjoy the same opportunitiess.
- Gender Equality
Make all industries a women’s industry too: There are still in 2022 lots of business industries in which women do not have the same opportunities as men like in technological businesses, sports teams, financial business, and more. To achieve the same career opportunities and be more visible to the world, women all around the world have fought for workplace equality.
Malbus is on its way in breaking these stereotype norms and empowering women by hiring them on creative positions and trusting them and handing them over the authority to rule and excel in their respective fields.
- Raise Awareness
It’s hard to hide under a rock in 2022, but there are still a few who are not aware of the issues women are facing. For this, is very important that we share the correct information. Remember knowledge is power!
This year’s theme is “choose to challenge”. Use social media to spread the love. Use your “choose to challenge” pose and year’s hashtags are #BreakTheBias #IWD2022 to show your support!
- Breaking Down Barriers
Bluehost is excited to celebrate all the diverse, vibrant, and dynamic women who continue to achieve and excel in technology, as bloggers, and entrepreneurs. Below you will find a wonderful roundup of quotes from women we have featured in our Customer Spotlight Program over the past year. Whether they are juggling multiple roles as boss or businesswoman, these are just a few examples of women continuing to break barriers in their respective industries.
- Eliminating Misogyny
Women’s empowerment seems senseless until women do not raise their voice for themselves. In my perspective, most of the times woman herself accepts that she is born for being mistreated and hence nothing can be done. Women readily accept that Men are way superior to them and they are inferior. However, Islam has given those rights to women which are never given by any religion or any government of developed states. It’s all about praising that typical mindset which is needed to be fixed. It’s a dire need to implement all those rules and laws which Shariyah has given to us 15 centuries ago.
Put your trust in your daughters and give them opportunity to rock in the world of patriarchy along with the teachings of your Almighty.
- Believe in Her Versatility
A woman is dragged to stand at the back every time she tried talking about her qualities. Support your women in whatever career they want to pursue. Praise her qualities and expertise and be proud of her on whatever she achieved. Women glow different when they are treated rightly. Tell her that she is beautiful inside out and the qualities that she is born with can earn her a huge respect!
